CURRICULUM SERVICES
As a community-focused business we are committed to closing the gap between education and economic mobility in our communities, starting with the youth. Therefore, 5 Tribe Vending seeks to empower marginalized youth in Philadelphia through entrepreneurship, experiential learning, and workforce development opportunities that prepare them for the future workforce and various career pathways. By leveraging our years of K-12 education experience and entrepreneurial engagement, we have curated curriculum offerings that supports all learners in thriving.
Our two curriculum offerings include 5 Tribe Kids Curriculum and The Transition 360* Curriculum. Both provide a well-rounded experience for us to work with schools to provide students with Education, Experiences, and Exposure by leveraging vending machines as in-house learning tools. Through our curriculums we provide schools and their teachers the following programmatic elements:

A free vending machine with profit sharing to support school-based programming.

Teacher training on machine management and student curriculum implementation.

Starter kit of units & lessons with associated task boxes, resources and handouts to integrate into instructional delivery and design.

Access to quarterly guest speakers or hands-on learning events for students that utilize the curriculum.
5 Tribe Kids Curriculum bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world career opportunities by providing students ages 12–24 with engaging, career-connected educational experiences. Through monthly school-based lessons, field trips, guest speakers, entrepreneurial ecosystem exposure, and hands-on learning opportunities, students develop both workplace and entrepreneurial skills while exploring future career pathways. The curriculum is supported by teacher professional development and integrates seamlessly into core academic subjects, using innovative learning tools such as vending machine-based learning labs and school enterprise experiences. By combining education, exposure, and experiential learning, 5 Tribe equips young people with the mindset, skills, and connections needed to achieve long-term economic success and build generational wealth.
The Transition 360* program, helps youth and young adults with special needs transition into adulthood and have life skills and workforce skills that will allow them to find success as they transition into their post-secondary lifestyle.
5 Tribe Vending leverages everyday tasks entrepreneurs engage in to educate young people in hard/technical skill and soft skills, which can be transferable to any field.
