We recognize that our vending machine company offers several benefits; both to our direct customers and indirect customers. As a community-focused business servicing the community is not only about providing direct services to consumers of our machine products, but also serving as a training and educational business partner as well. The founders of 5 Tribe Vending through their hybrid experience in education and entrepreneurship have also created an unique program and service called Transition 360*. 

 

Transition 360*, provides a full circle experience for schools that educate students with special needs by providing them with an in-house business that can serve as a learning tool, vocational programming support and exposure to career-based  education and work-based learning. Through our program we provide schools and their teachers the following programmatic elements:

• A free vending machine with profit sharing to support classroom transition activities. 

• Teacher training on machine management and student curriculum implementation.

• Starter kit of units with associated task boxes & lists, manipulatives and lesson plans to start implementation.

• Teacher professional development related to transition planning for students with disabilities inclusive of career education and work based learning standards.

• Access to quarterly guest speaking events or hands-on learning events for students that utilize the curriculum.
