Program Overview
The 5 Tribe Village Builders is a year-round volunteer initiative that connects entrepreneurs, business leaders, and industry professionals with youth through intentional exposure to industries and career pathways to ensure we are cultivating “future-ready” learners and professionals. At 5 Tribe Vending we are committed to creating opportunities for community success, and for us this involves educators, youth and entrepreneurs. 

Our 5 Tribe Village Builders offers entrepreneurs and local business owners the opportunity to share their career story, engage in meaningful service, and support the development of a future workforce member they can hire and/or support along their journey. We recognize the life of a professional can be fast-paced with its ebbs and flows, therefore we offer a variety of options in how you engage with our youth while making it a meaningful experience for the entrepreneur as well. 

Volunteer engagement includes: guest speaker opportunities, one-day youth summit experiences, mentorship, career exploration through shadow days, hands-on learning experiences and/or internships. This program is building on the success of our annual Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, by providing the space for meaningful opportunities for community leaders to invest in the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and workforce leaders.

The 5 Tribe Village Builders supports 5 Tribe Vending’s mission of preparing young people for future careers by providing education beyond the classroom walls, on-the-job experiences, and exposure to a local entrepreneurial ecosystem that is thriving.
